Numerous simultaneous calls keep ambulance crews scrambling

         Ambulance crews scrambled to reach three incidents Thursday morning around Park Rapids.

     Two car accidents and a heart attack around 11:30 a.m. on a golf course kept both North Memorial Ambulance staff and Hubbard First Responders hopping.

     An elderly driver escaped serious injury on Hubbard County 107 when his pickup left the roadway and plowed into a ditch, taking out a power pole and causing an outage.

     The second crash, involving two vehicles, did not cause any injuries although that was not immediately known. A domestic incident involved two family mambers,

     A golfer suffered a heart attack on Eagle View’s #17 tee box at the same time. Air care was called to the scene. North Memiorial Ambulance Service was setting up a landing zone near the course.
