No injuries when semi fishtails, loses load of lumber near PR
Park Rapids Minnesota PO Box 111 56470

A semi that lost its load on Hubbard County Road 4 Wednesday morning slowed traffic on the major highway but there were no injuries.

A deputy at the scene said the trailer began fish-tailing on the slippery road surface and the driver couldn't get it under control before it jackknifed and overturned in the east ditch.

The driver was northbound. He spilled a load of lumber, which was cleaned up by a front-end loader and several employees from Park Rapids Building Supply, who came to the driver's assistance.

The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m.
