Shane Foley of the Hubbard County Soil and Water Conservation District tested 230 water sample during the Hubbard County Fair. He said 32 tested above the maximum recommended nitrate levels of 10 parts per million, set by the Minnesota Department of Health. Highest readings were in the 20s and 30s, he said. Those levels pose potential health problems for human consumption, especially babies. (Sarah Smith / Enterprise)
