Nevis man injured in one-vehicle accident
A Nevis man received head injuries last week when the car he was driving left a county road, struck a directional sign and collided with a grove of trees.
Charles Joseph Cook, 60, was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Area Health Services for treatment.
The accident occurred Aug. 7 just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 13 and the Green Valley Resort Road, about 1½ miles south of Nevis.
Hubbard County authorities submitted their report to the county attorney for possible charges, according to a news release. The investigation continues into the cause of the one-vehicle accident.
