Nevis graduate critically injured in Minneapolis house fire Wednesday
Sadie Norlin, 27, daughter of Steve and Betty Norlin of Park Rapids, was critically injured in a house fire that occurred Wednesday morning in south Minneapolis.
One person died in the fire.
According to the Star Tribune, the blaze broke out about 6 a.m. at the three-story home on Harriet Avenue.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the front porch fully engulfed in flames, according to the Star Tribune, with the fire stretching to the third floor.
Fire crews used a ladder to bring down two people from the home's second story.
Sadie Norlin was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition, according to the Star Tribune. Betty Norlin told the Enterprise Sadie was not severely burned but suffered smoke inhalation. She is being treated in HCMC's hyperbaric chamber.
Sadie Norlin is a Nevis High School graduate.
