NDSU building official resigns in wake of critical audit
FARGO - North Dakota State University's top building official has resigned in the wake of an audit critical of campus building projects, including the NDSU president's house.
Bruce Frantz's resignation as director of facilities management is effective May 17, the university announced today.
Vice President of Finance and Administration Bruce Bollinger said the resignation was a mutual agreement.
"Our discussions revolved around the ongoing scrutiny of capital projects at NDSU, specifically those covered in the recent audit," he said in a news release. "We also discussed Bruce's 10-year career at NDSU, and the future direction of both the university and Facilities Management."
Frantz will receive a three-month severance package.
