MS Walk participants brave chill for cause on Sunday
Despite cold temperatures, teams of walkers came out for the annual Walk MS: Park Rapids event at Heartland Park on Sunday to walk, socialize and eat. Fundraising was done before the walk and some people showed up with donations.
Walk MS: Park Rapids was one of 33 walk events throughout Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and western Wisconsin. Participants gathered Sunday to raise money and support for programs and services for people with MS and their families.
Dollars go to the Upper Midwest Chapter area and fund cutting‐edge research to stop the disease in its tracks, restore lost function and create a world free of MS.
