Update: Missing 5-year-old from fatal Bemidji fire found alive

Motorcycle crash near Alexandria causes serious injuries

A 60-year-old man from Oak Grove was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 29 near Alexandria Thursday.

The crash happened at about 5:15 p.m. near Nordic Trails Golf Course north of Alexandria. Alexander Haack, 16, of Alexandria was pulling out onto Highway 29 when a northbound motorcycle driven by Stephen Anstett of Oak Grove hit his vehicle broadside, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Anstett is in critical condition, according to the State Patrol. Haack had no apparent injuries.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
