Morning accident causes injury
A two-vehicle accident causing non-life threatening injuries occurred about 10:35 a.m. Monday when a westbound vehicle driven by James McLain of Park Rapids attempted to cross CSAH 6. Theodore Luetgers of Park Rapids, who was southbound on CSAH 6, struck the vehicle, according to Sheriff Frank Homer.
McLaen and his passenger, Roger Paterka, were taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Area Health Center. The accident is under investigation, according to Homer. Hubbard County Sheriff's Department, Park Rapids Police, Park Rapids Fire Department and North Ambulance responded.
