MICHAEL "MIKE" FULLER
Michael "Mike" Fuller, 53, of Park Rapids, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at Sanford Health Center in Fargo, N.D.
Michael Steven Fuller was born Oct. 11, 1959 in Park Rapids, the son of Jerome and Betty (Holland) Fuller. He grew up and attended grade school at St. Peter's Parochial School and then PR High School where he graduated in 1978. Mike also attended Detroit Lakes Vo Tech. He has lived all his life in Park Rapids, where he worked in the family business. He was a member of Ducks Un-limited and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids.
Michael had many hobbies including collecting polished stones, agates, and stamps. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, Vikings football and the Minnesota Twins. Michael collected coins and was interested in historic memorabilia. He was a terrific uncle, a caring brother and friend to many.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Fuller of Park Rapids; his brother, Robert Fuller of Park Rapids; his sister, Susan Parent of St. Cloud; one niece, Megan Fuller and one nephew, Murray (Erica) Parent; his great-niece, Taylor Starr of Duluth; two uncles, Royce (Rita) Holland of Park Rapids and Ren (Ida Mae) Holland of Little Falls; two aunts, Mildred Holland of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Grace Klein of Princeton; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome "Jerry" Fuller; brothers, Jerry Paul and James Fuller; niece Trisha Fuller; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Betty Holland and paternal grandparents, Earl and Eugenia Fuller.
Memorial prayer service: 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Park Rapids. A visitation will take place after the service.
Deacon John Zinnel is officiating. Annette Haas will play the guitar and lead the congregational hymns "Though the Mountains May Fall," "Amazing Grace" and "Canticle of the Sun."
Honorary urn bearers: Susan Parent, Robert Fuller, Murray and Erica Parent, Megan Fuller and Taylor Starr.
Inurnment: will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Park Rapids.
