Man transported to Park Rapids hospital after one-vehicle accident

The driver in a one-vehicle accident in Hubbard County was transported in stable condition to St. Joseph's Area Health Services Thursday morning.

It was the second one-vehicle crash in two days in clear sunny weather in the county.

A Minneapolis man and his son escaped injuries Wednesday when their SUV drifted onto the shoulder and rolled on County Road 7.

The accident this morning was at the intersections of County Roads 20 and 17 shortly after 11 a.m. It was reported by power crews working in the area.

The circumstances of the accident were not clear. The Ford Taurus sedan received moderate damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel. It was southbound on County 20.

The driver walked to the ambulance after briefly speaking to emergency crews at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
