Maanum wildlife photo display starts today
Park Rapids Minnesota PO Box 111 56470

Retired Park Rapids science teacher Steve Maanum's wildlife photos will be on display starting today through next Saturday at the North Country Museum of Arts. The show is called "From Backyards to Backwoods."

A reception and presentation on nature photography will highlight the week Aug. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Maanum received a Region 2 arts grant last winter that enabled him to print and frame his nature photos.

The gallery has been moved to several public spots around Park Rapids this summer.

Maanum would like to start a Park Rapids Area bird watchers/photo club. If you're interested, you can contact Sarah at the Enterprise.
