Little Pine death a possible drowning

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 40-year old Perham man. Authorities say Scott Robertson was found unresponsive near a dock on Little Pine Lake about 7 p.m., Friday night, June 12.

Officials suspect that Robertson drowned, but the exact cause of death isn't known at this time.

Funeral services for Scott Patrick Robertsonwill be held Tuesday, June 16, 2009, beginning at 11:00 am at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Perham, with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Ottertail, MN. Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.

Scott was born April 9, 1969, at St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge, MN. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Breckenridge through the eighth grade and was a 1987 graduate of Breckenridge High School. Scott held an Associate of Arts degree from the ND State School of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Moorhead State University.

Scott had a zest for life. He had an intense love for his family, friends, and the outdoors. Scott was a talented businessman as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be dearly missed.

Scott is survived by his parents, Keith and Martha Robertson; brother, Paul (Janell) Robertson; sisters, Anita (Chris) Anderson and Gail Robertson; nephews, Luke, Jason, and Eric Anderson and Michael Robertson; niece, Jessica Lom; special friend and companion, Tara Giese; and many close friends and extended family members.
