Although the location may have changed, the tradition of selling a quality item at a bargain price aims to remain the same at Linda’s Recycled Goods.

Once across from what is now Hugo’s for over 30 years, Linda’s old location was bought out earlier this year, and they are now located at 1005 Park Ave S, across from A&W.

Owned by Linda Anderson for “around 30 years,” Linda’s Recycled Goods (formerly Rich’s Antiques for about 25 of those years) specializes in recycled merchandise, items and antiques.

The new location, officially opened on May 1, is about 1/3 of the size of their old location, Linda estimates; but no matter how small in size, Linda’s hopes to continue on their past success.

“Most businesses don’t survive as long as we have survived. The people who have come to my shop before are happy that I am open. I like my job and my prices are affordable,” Anderson said.

“We’re not trying to rip anybody off. People like us, we’ve got a good reputation obviously because we’ve survived 30-some years. People come from all over the U.S. to see us.”

If it’s been made, she sells it, Anderson claims.

Linda’s can be reached at 732-3949 or 252-5005 and will be open from 9-5.
