Letters: Small church is dedicated to outreach
Trinity Church of Park Rapids is a small church in terms of its numbers and members, but it has a dedicated population and a history of community outreach. The women's guild is involved in many community outreach activities and projects.
We must refer to the annual March Hubbard County Food Shelf drive. The Trinity Church members raised $1,061, which is historic! During much of the year the church attendance is about 30 members. Its ranks grow in the summer to about 50 to 65 members. Being small in numbers can at times be a glorious struggle. Small can be positive and beautiful in terms of identity - we know who we are and what we can do. All voices are heard. We do feel a sense of mission in our many community outreach activities.
