Letters: President Obama's statement untrue
President Obama says that few challenges facing American and the world are more urgent than combating climate change. He says the science is beyond dispute and the facts are clear. About a month ago the Cato Institute ran a full page ad in the national rev, the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune and others, listing over 120 scientists and weather recorders all over the world telling the president that his statement was incorrect and that there had been no global warming in the last 10 years. And just days ago the head scientist at EPA came out with his report with the same conclusion. His superiors immediately shelved the report. You see, the senate has not voted on the energy bill yet.
