Letters: Legislature should get the job done
It looks like our elected officials will not finish their job on time again this year. They knew going in that they had to be done by a certain day.
That is fine as long as when they have to have a special session, no one should receive one penny more of the tax payers money.
I see it as a contract between the people of Minnesota who voted for them to get their job done by a certain day. If they don't get the job done and they should have to go into special session, it should come out of their pocket, not ours!
Failure to get the job done on time should make them unable to run for a state office again.
That's my two cents worth.
