Letter: Water Wars water was at least unpolluted
In rebuttal to the letter from reader Teri Baker (Park Rapids Enterprise, Aug. 14) about the use of a couple thousand gallons of water used in an hour for Water Wars on Main Street, that water went back to nature unpolluted.
I’m wondering if Ms. Baker has been around here for long. She certainly ought to have seen the irrigators in every one of the potato fields, using millions of gallons of water every day. For what purpose? To feed our faces with French fries?
Come on, it’s one thing to advocate for water conservation, but you should waggle your finger in a more appropriate direction!
