Letter: Sheriff candidates should release criminal records
We as voters seldom have the opportunity to have our voices heard, now is the time. As the local race for Hubbard County Sheriff heats up, I would request both candidates to publicly post their criminal records for the voting populace to screen. This would give voters the opportunity to select the individual that not only enforces the law but, abides by it. I'm sure both candidates display the utmost of integrity, and posting their criminal records for the public would be without hesitation. In any close race especially a local race those voting need more than a friendly handshake and a kind word to go on.
