Letter: 'I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore'
Americans are anxious and worried about their, and their children's, future because of the failed and destructive policies of "Hope and Change." The "Hope and Change" promised just did not happen. Voters that voted for "Hope and Change" are now seeing more clearly through the fog of campaign smoke and mirrors~repetitious broken promises. Americans just aren't buying into the fairy tale far left rhetoric. In my opinion, this is the same tired liberal, call it progressive if you wish, rhetoric as published in a Letter to the Editor in the last issue of the Park Rapids Enterprise. This reminds me of Dorothy's comment to her dog Toto in the Wizard of Oz "Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
It is past time to retire our Congressman, Jim Oberstar, a career politician of 36 years. Jim Oberstar has consistently enabled President Obama's destructive policies. Replacing him with a well-credentialed patriot who will truly represent the people who elected him and vote as his constituency would have him vote is Chip Cravaack. Go to www.votechip.org to learn the many reasons you should vote for a real patriot - Chip Cravaack.
