Lengby, Minn., woman killed in Mahnomen Co. rollover
A Lengby, Minn., woman was killed in a one-vehicle roll-over in Mahnomen County on Thursday.
Tamara Clark, 53, was pronounced dead at County Road 1, east of County Road 4, by White Earth Tribal officers and Mahnomen County sheriff's deputies, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Clark was ejected from a 2001 Chevrolet pickup that rolled into a stubble field after leaving a curve in the roadway at about 5:45 p.m., said a news release from the sheriff.
While investigating the accident, authorities discovered Clark's stepson, Jedidiah Clark, 32, of rural Lengby, in a nearby ditch.
Jedidiah was taken into custody and released pending further investigation. Alcohol is believed to be a factor, officials said.
