Kruchowski offers full service collision center
Josh Kruchowski, a former partner at K&G Auto Body, is now working independently, opening Josh's Collision Center on Highway 71 South.
The decision to open the business, located three miles south of the Highways 34 and 71 intersection, was buoyed by customer request, Kruchowski said.
"A lot of customers wanted me to stay in the area," he said.
The Northland Technical College, Thief River Falls graduate brings eight years' experience to the task. He's certified in installing windshields, refinishing car exteriors and boat repair.
He brings a "passion" that originated in high school to the job. "I liked working on cars," he said of repairing exteriors and installing stereos. He subsequently determined "this is something I can do for a living."
Collision repair is his specialty, including sand-blasting and welding. He will provide estimates with insurance work welcome.
The "complete collision service" includes restoring headlights, glass replacement, fiberglass work, frame straightening, color matching and truck accessories - such as trailer hitches, winches and cattle grills. He offers a manufacturer's warranty on all paints and products.
"No job is too small."
The five-stall building has a waiting area. The exterior has a lighted, fenced area for security purposes.
Josh's Collision Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
