She was born Nov. 25, 1942 to Ray and Katie Dunn in Hallock. She graduated from Hallock High School and attended the University of North Dakota.

She was united in marriage to Brian Keske Sept. 26, 1964 in Northcote. Brian and Kathy made their home in Park Rapids and were blessed with four children.

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many who were profoundly impacted and blessed by her humble and gracious spirit and her compassionate sense of others.

She loved her family, enjoyed quilting, rug-hooking, wood-working, flower gardening and Bible studies.

Her sense of purpose and joy came from creating a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends as well as for hundreds of strawberry customers who visited Keskes' Little Patch on the Prairie over the past 30 years. She radiated an aura of grace and beauty that left an indelible impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids where she served in various roles as a youth leader, women's ministries, and Bible studies.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Brian Keske; four children, Dawn (Ron) Haas of Isanti, Paul (Melissa) Keske of Pine River, Beth (Jeff) Ekre of Moorhead and Mary (Ryan) Collins of Silver Spring, Md.; grandchildren, Alyse, Madeline, Caroline, and Rachel Haas, Meghan and Clayton Ekre, and Graycie Collins; brothers, Joel (Lorraine) Dunn, Rodney (Betty) Dunn, Duane Dunn, Dale (Cheryl) Dunn; sister, Susie Kasprowicz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and two nephews.

Kathy leaves a legacy of love for family, sincere warmth for others, an authentic joy, and a steadfast hope and trust in Jesus.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1 at the Fireside Room of Faith Baptist Church.

A service in celebration of Kathy's life: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at Faith Baptist Church, Park Rapids.
