Raising awareness of multiple sclerosis is a huge job, however, "many hands make a large project small" by talking about MS, sending e-mails to friends and co-workers, inviting others to attend the Park Rapids area MS Support group, and attending the Park Rapids Area MS Walk Sunday, May 5 at Heartland Park are a just a few ways to start the connection moving.

"Walk MS was first hosted in Minnesota in 1988 and at that time there were no MS drug therapies available to help slow down the progression of MS.

Walk MS is an experience where a community joins together to celebrate the progress that has been accomplished, raise awareness of the disease and to raise funds for a cure.
