Janice A Crawford, 80, of Palmyra, Wis., passed away peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2013 surrounded by her son and daughter.

Janice was born May 4, 1932, the daughter of William and Eva Smith of Anoka.

She was raised in the Anoka area where she met her husband Bob. Bob and Jan were married just shy of 55 years before his death in 2007.

Jan and Bob moved around quite a bit throughout the Midwest while they raised three children, finally settling in Palmyra, Wis.

While living in northern Minnesota, Jan and Bob were involved with the Jaycees in Park Rapids, and helped organize the first ever Logging Days.

Jan was loved and will be remembered by her son, Scott Crawford; daughter, Melanie Crawford; grandchildren, Nathan (fiancé Jill) and Quentin Wilczynski; nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends.

Gathering of family and friends: 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Cornerstone, 33 W. Main St. Palmyra, Wis.

Those planning an ex-pression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge of Palmyra or the American Legion Thomas Holcomb Post 304 of Palmyra.
