Thousands of visitors and campers streamed into Itasca State Park over the weekend to enjoy the fall colors. Maple trees were at their peak, park officials estimated. Lines of traffic clogged the park's Main Drive, drivers stopping to photograph the leaves. The weekend featured a Harvest Lantern Lit Hike, a folk concert, the Headwaters 100 bike ride, campfires, log sawing and beautiful weather. More than 2,000 people came to the visitors' center Saturday.
