Hubbard County K9 Unit fundraiser serves 300 people
People gathered at the Park Rapids American Legion Friday evening for the annual fish fry fundraiser benefiting the Hubbard County K9 Unit. The menu of fish, baked potato, coleslaw and garlic bread was a hit. K9 handler Deputy Dan Kruchowski and his K9 partner, Oakley, have been an instrumental part of the department. Above, Delmar and Dorothy Marquardt of Park Rapids get their meal from Sheriff Cory Aukes. He later reported more than 300 people were served at the event.
