Hubbard County dodged a bullet but Round 2 on the way

The Hubbard County region received three to five inches of snow Monday, more in the north part of the county.

Overall the county dodged a bullet as heavier snows stayed north and west.

 

But round 2 is on the way. Here's the extended forecast:

  • Sunny, with a high near 33. East wind 3 to 5 mph.
  • Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. East wind around 7 mph.
  • Thursday: Snow likely, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 34. East wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
  • Thursday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 23. East northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Friday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 37. North wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
  • Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow before 8pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 17.
  • Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 42.
  • Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.
  • Sunday: A slight chance of rain and snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 47.
  • Sunday Night: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
  • Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46.
  • Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.
  • Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44.
