Hallock man injured after falling asleep at the wheel

A Hallock, Minn., man was injured early Sunday when he fell asleep at the wheel and his vehicle rolled in Kittson County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Guy Gustafson, 23, Hallock, was driving from Grand Forks to Hallock when he fell asleep west of Donaldson, Minn., at 5:35 a.m. Sunday while eastbound on state Highway 11. The 2007 Lincoln MXS went off the south side of the road, rolled and came to rest in the eastbound lane facing north. The two-lane blacktop was wet at the time.

Gustafson was wearing a seat belt and his airbag deployed. He broke his left hand, according to the Patrol.
