Former Fargo Star to sing for Twins
Kallie Frost, a Moorhead High School student and winner of the inaugural Fargo Star competition, will sing the national anthem at the start of the Minnesota Twin's game Thursday.
She won the 2007 Fargo Star talent show competition as a 15-year-old sophomore, singing "Mamma Mia" to capture the crown.
Frost was selected to sing at Thursday's Twins game after a statewide talent search. The Twins annually host events for Minnesota Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) students.
The game begins at 7:10 p.m.
Moorhead Police Sgt. Deric Swenson submitted Frost during the talent search process.
The next Fargo Star will be crowned Saturday at The Venue at The Hub. The show starts at 6 p.m. and is free for all ages. Ten finalists have been selected and will compete for the title.
