Fire destroys shop off County Road 4 Sunday
Twenty Park Rapids firefighters fought a blaze at a Henrietta Township shop Sunday afternoon.
The building off County Road 4 is a total loss, said Fire Chief Donn Hoffman.
It is owned by Mark Delaney, Hoffman said.
"It appears to have been caused by spontaneous combustion, probably from some rags they had been staining with," Hoffman said.
"He lost a couple snowmobiles, a truck and miscellaneous tools. It's a total loss."
The fire was called in just before 4 p.m. Smoke was visible for miles, Hoffman said.
