FARGO -- Among the thousands of runners lining up on the Main Avenue bridge Saturday was a bride.
Not a bride-to-be. A bride.
KayCee Johnson of Fargo ran the Fargo Marathon 10K the day of her wedding, wearing her mother’s wedding veil.
“I’m not wearing it in the wedding, so I decided to wear it out here,” she said.
Johnson and her fiancé, Ryan Judd, planned a 4 p.m. wedding at The Avalon in downtown Fargo in front of 200 guests.
She said pulling off the feat required “a lot of careful planning” and help from friends and family.
