Fargo police pursue convenience store robber Sunday night
Fargo police were in pursuit of a man who robbed the Stop-N-Go at 3216 12th Ave. N., at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
A female clerk told police the robber definitely had a knife and may have had a gun or gun-shaped object, covered in duct tape. He left the store through a northeast exit, and possibly left the scene in a white SUV, according to dispatches on the police scanner.
The man is described as a white, clean-shaven male in his early 30s who stands about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white muscle shirt under a blue sweatshirt, a floppy fishing hat and sunglasses, according to a police dispatcher.
The fishing hat was found in the parking lot after the incident.
Soon after the robbery, police officers had stationed themselves in a three-block perimeter around the convenience store.
As of 10:50 p.m., police were still pursuing the subject in the vicinity of the Meadow Park Trailer Court, just south of the convenience store.
