Experts for a day

Century's corridor was awash in information and populated with galaxies and coyotes, space shuttles and dinosaurs, giraffes and ferrets, to name a few, as fifth graders displayed the results of their expert findings Wednesday. Research begins in March after students choose a topic. Each is asked to compile 100 facts and peers in fourth through eighth grades are invited to pose questions. Correct answers earn gold stars.
