Park Rapids' Kirsten Erickson earned all-conference honorable mention honors by carding a 97 at Tuesday's Mid-State Conference meet at Ruttger's.

Mindy Lawrence's 101, Mary Kading's 104 and Allie Bade's 105 led to the Panthers' fourth-place team score of 407.

Staples-Motley, led by medalist Cydney Hasselberg's 75, claimed the conference title with a 341. Detroit Lakes and Pequot Lakes carded 391s while Wadena-Deer Creek shot a 408. Crosby-Ironton had only two golfers.

Joining Hasselberg as all-conference golfers were teammates Julia Schock (84), Kelly Hagenson (89) and Hailey Roberts (93); W-DC's Kayla Krause (85); Pequot Lakes' Megan Lenz (89); and Detroit Lakes' Robin Hutchinson (90).

Detroit Lakes' Courtney Headstrom (94), W-DC's Katie Anderson (94), C-I's Jamie Welle (96), Staples-Motley's Emily Israelson (97) and Pequot Lakes' Savannah Stone (97) joined Erickson as honorable mention golfers.

In the boys meet, Sam Coborn's 88 and Ryan O'Mara's 90 led Park Rapids to a 381 for sixth place.

Detroit Lakes and Staples-Motley both shot 332s, Crosby-Ironton carded a 337, Pequot Lakes shot a 339 and W-DC had a 363. Detroit Lakes' Ben Langworthy earned medalist honors with a 76.

Cole Trebar's 99 and a pair of 104s by Gairett Johnson and Tony Schmid led to the Panthers' team score.

The other all-conference golfers were Pequot Lakes' Jonas Dale (78); Staples-Motley's Nick Forsberg (79) and Travis Meyers (80); C-I's Tyler Snook (81) and Ryan Donovan (83); and Detroit Lakes' Tanner Lane (84).

Girls team scores: Staples-Motley 341, Detroit Lakes 391, Pequot Lakes 391, Park Rapids 407, Wadena-Deer Creek 408, Crosby-Ironton incomplete.

Girls card 382 at Longbow

All four golfers carded rounds under 100 as the Park Rapids girls golf team tied for second place at Wednesday's WolfPack Invitational at Longbow.

Lawrence and Erickson shot 95s while Kading and Katie Kristofferson shot 96s as the Panthers tied East Grand Forks with a 382. Crookston - led by 85s by Lindsey Morgan and Rachel Wold - led the 10-team field with a 361.

Longbow will be the site of the Section 8AA meet.

Nevis cards 325 at Bears Den

The Nevis boys golf team took advantage of playing on its home course to claim runner-up honors at Monday's Nevis Invitational at Bears Den.

The Tigers carded a 325 to trail only Staples-Motley's 303. United North Central was seventh with a 383, Nevis' B team finished eighth with a 386 and Prak Rapids was 10th with a 431.

Mike Wing's 88, Cody Brostrom's 97, Lane Hillukka's 99 and Gerald Klemz's 100 led UNC.

Zach O'Hern's 100, Eddie Carlson's 101, Jason Dennis' 114 and Cody Larson's 116 comprised Park Rapids' team score.

Red Lake's Rob Pemberton shot a 71 to earn medalist honors.
