East Grand Forks had nine different players score a goal in an 11-2 win to spoil the season opener for the Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys hockey team Saturday at the Ted O. Johnson Ice Arena.

The Green Wave, which opened the season with a 4-1 loss to Bemidji Thursday night and a 5-1 loss to Brainerd Friday night, scored four power-play goals in five chances and held a 39-11 advantage in shots on goal en route to the win.
