The St. Paul Ice Show is also a great place to pick up the perfect holiday gift for the outdoors-person in your life. The following items are sure to please the recipient and are also available at local sporting goods outlets.

-Clam LED Light/Fan: This combination accessory with 18 LED bulbs also includes a 2-speed fan and is the perfect addition to any fish house, portable or stationary. The unit runs on 2 D batteries and the fan and light can run simultaneously or individually. A smaller size which runs on 4 AA batteries is also available.

-Northland Tackle Hexi Fly: Engineered over the course of three years by sonar specialists, the Hexi Fly is a flat bodied ice fishing jig that reflects twice the sonar signal. Using ¼ wave technology, the Hexi Fly is the first "sonar friendly" jig and a great stocking stuffer for the angling enthusiast.

-Minnesota State Parks Gift Card: According to the Minnesota DNR website, gift cards can be used for camping or an overnight getaway in rustic camper cabins or modern suites, a Minnesota State Parks vehicle permit, canoe, kayak, snowshoe, and snowtube rentals, Minnesota State Parks-wear, outdoor-related books, or other great selections found at Minnesota State Parks gift shops.

The gift cards can be purchased on the website stayatmnparks.com, by calling 1-866-85PARKS, or by visiting the office at any state park.

-Clam Seat Heater:

The Seat Heater, made by portable fish house producer Clam, is great for the fish house and the deer stand. The Seat Heater runs on a 12v, 9 amp battery which is the standard for ice fishing flasher sonar. The Seat Heater will run for 8 hours continuously independently, or for up to 6 hours while attached to your flasher.

The Seat Heater also has a removable element so you can wash the cover.

-AutoTether: The lanyard connected to the kill switch inside a boat is great while you're sitting in the captain's chair, but sometimes boat drivers forget to attach the clip to their life jacket each time they sit down. Enter the Auto-

Tether.

The ingenious device is installed in seconds over the existing engine kill switch. A small clip goes on the angler's belt, waistline or personal floatation device. If the angler should fall overboard, the remote device stops the engine. More information is available at autotether.com.

-Cool Fillet Boards: The fillet and game cleaning boards and stations created by All-Tool Pinnacle Outdoors range from standard to ingenious. Foldable boards that open up to the same size as a truck tailgate, massive boards for big game, game boards that connect to a tree and many more can be viewed and purchased at apoutdoors.

Editor's Note: In last week's column, Terry Bartness' neighbor was mistakenly identified. Kenneth "Kip" Nelson helped Bartness drag the garage door ice house onto Fish Hook Lake.
