Friday, June 5

• At 11:29 p.m. two boys were seen walking away from a fire at County Road 149 and Campbell Creek. Detroit Lakes firefighters were on the scene for 15 minutes. A deputy was there for 45 minutes.

• At 3:30 p.m. an ATV accident was reported on the 19000 block of County Road 25. A 3-year-old suffered a bloody nose and a woman suffered a head injury. St. Mary's EMS was on the scene for a half hour. No other information was available.

• At 7:54 p.m. a White Earth woman reported damage to a cabin on the 38000 block of County Road 34.

Saturday, June 6

• At 10:47 a.m. Seip Drug in Frazee reported a Pepsi machine had been tipped over on the 100 block of East Main.

• At 12:17 a.m. a woman at the Lakeside bar reported a man there was drinking in violation of his probation requirements. The man was arrested on a Becker County warrant.

• At 12:29 a.m. an anonymous complaint from the Northside bar reported minors drinking there. An officer spoke with two women there, both age 20, and a citation was issued for minor consuming alcohol.

• At 12:29 a.m. the Sandbar reported a woman trying to start fights and refusing to leave. She was cooperative when police arrived and an officer gave her a ride home.

• At 1:54 a.m. a man at the Sandbar reported another man trying to start a fight with him after an argument. All parties but him were gone when police arrived.

Sunday, June 7

• At 12:50 a.m. a man reported his brother was throwing his property out of a shop on the 18000 block of Old Pit Road. City police assisted sheriff's deputies in responding to the incident.

• At 1:11 a.m. three women were reported fighting in the east parking lot of the ClubHouse. The women, a 27-year-old from Detroit Lakes, a 24-year-old from Jordan, Minn., and a 25-year-old from Carver, Minn., were fighting over possession of a boa from a pre-wedding party.

They calmed down after an officer explained the boa was only worth $3 and it would cost a lot more to pay disorderly conduct tickets.

• At 1:26 a.m. Zorbaz reported a man behaving in a threatening manner outside the bar. The 23-year-old man was asked to leave by staff and needed police assistance to do so.

• At 3:23 a.m. a White Earth woman reported that a young boy came to her home, bleeding from the head, and said he had been beat up near the school. He ran away when she told him she was going to call the police on his behalf.

• At 5:02 a.m. an assault report resulted in charges of fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct at a residence on County Road 21 in White Earth.

• At 6:52 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported a vacant house was on fire on the 28000 block of County Road 129 in Ponsford. Firefighters from Carsonville and Wolf Lake were on the scene for several hours.

• At 10:13 a.m. a break-in was reported at Mount Calvary Gospel Church in Ponsford. The front door was pried open to gain access and a radio/CD player was taken.

• At 5:04 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported three cabins were burglarized on the 31000 block of 377th St, Ogema. The doors had been kicked in to gain access.

Monday, June 8

• At 12:49 a possible drunk driver in a White Blazer was reported near Holiday gas station. A 26-year-old man was arrested on three DWI-related charges.

• At 1:32 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported a small, noisy car had left a house on the 49000 block of 280th St., Ponsford, and the occupants had said they had guns.

Seven officers from White Earth, Becker County and Detroit Lakes responded, with some remaining on the scene for up to three hours.

The incident resulted in a man arrested on charges of DWI, fleeing a peace officer and driving without insurance.

• At 6:45 p.m. a White Earth woman reported a man had just assaulted her in the tribal headquarters parking lot and was on the loose. Five tribal police officers responded.

Tuesday. June 9

• At 7:36 a.m. a Detroit Lakes resident reported the theft of a turbo manifold and turbo that had been left outside the residence overnight on the 29000 block of Highway 10.

• At 10:38 a.m. an employee with Minnesota Energy reported that he had been attacked by a customer's dog on the 100 block of East Falcon St., Audubon.

The dog did not bite him, but he had to fight his way back to his van. He said the owners were home but made no attempt to control their dog.
