Zach Jewison scored off a rebound and turned a steal into a layup, Wyatt Derman scored on a layup and Jordan McCollum hit a jumper as the Panthers jumped out to an 8-0 lead with 15:46 to play in the first half.

After a layup by Gavin Becker ended that run, a layup by McCollum, a basket off a rebound by Rilee Johnson and a 3-pointer by Derman made it 15-2 at the 13:28 mark.

Becker’s back-to-back layups cut the gap to 17-6 before two layups by Remington Hagan, a pair of layups by McCollum, and layups by Jewison and Johnson gave the Panthers a 30-8 lead with 5:16 to play in the first half.

Jumpers by Austin Becker and Courtland Chase made it 30-12 before the Panthers closed out the half with a 13-4 run behind Johnson’s layup off a steal, Hagan’s 3-pointer, and a 3-pointer and basket off a rebound by McCollum. Gavin Becker’s four free throws accounted for Nevis’ points as the Tigers trailed 43-16 at the break.

Derman’s layup was followed by offensive putbacks by Johnson and Bryce Brovitch and a jumper by Derman as the Panthers led 58-28 with 7:59 left. Austin Becker’s layup and a 3-pointer by Gavin Becker accounted for Nevis’ points during that stretch.

A jumper and two free throws by Gavin Hitchcock and two free throws by Clayton DeWulf were offset by a 3-pointer by Massie down the stretch.
