Luke Jaeger scored the only goal for the Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys hockey team in a 5-1 loss at Detroit Lakes Tuesday night.

A power-play goal by Kyle Hermann and a goal by Ryan Deconcini gave the Lakers a 2-0 lead after the first period.

Connor Kennedy and Drew Bade assisted on Jaeger's goal at the 9:11 mark of the second period as the Panthers cut the deficit to 2-1. Park Rapids held a 15-7 advantage in shots in that period.
