Two free throws by Paul Dirks with 9:46 to play and a basket off a rebound by Theis with 9:10 remaining kept the Panthers within 16-8 before C-I went on a 33-9 run to take control.

Three-pointers by Tyler Dickie and Matthew Hudrlik at the start of the second half helped push C-I's lead to 49-17. Taylor Kimball's layup provided the only points for the Panthers during that stretch.

The Rangers continued to build on their lead as Hudrlik, Pribyl and Jasper Schmidt hit 3-pointers down the stretch. Two inside baskets by Ridlon, two layups by Roth Mattson, and two jumpers by Chris Goplerud accounted for the Panthers' points in the final 14:25.
