The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and Detroit Lakes Police Department:
Friday, May 22
At 2:39 p.m. man fell on the steps of the Becker County Courthouse and was bleeding from the head. A police officer assisted EMS workers.
Saturday, May 23
At 12:32 a.m. a squad car versus deer collision was reported on Highway 87.
At 1:17 a.m. a woman reported that she was assaulted at the Sandbar. The 40-year-old woman was cited, along with a 23-year-old woman, for disorderly conduct and fighting.
At 4:11 a.m. St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids reported treating the victim of an ATV accident north of Wolf Lake. No details were available.
At 2:01 p.m. a Frazee woman reported the theft of items out of her garden overnight from the 300 block of West Walnut.
At 3:33 p.m. a stolen bike was reported on the 1500 block of June Avenue.
At 3:48 p.m. a woman reported the theft of two 10-gallon gas cans from a boat on Island Lake.
At 3:57 p.m. a Richwood woman reported a window on her home had been shattered.
At 4:52 p.m. A Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of 5 gallons of gas from a pontoon on Island Lake.
At 6:28 p.m. a large wood pile was reported on fire near the public access by Mary Yellow Head Road in West Sugar Bush Township. The DNR sent two fire-fighting trucks to the fire, caused by a bonfire out of control.
At 8:13 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported her house had been broken into and vandalized on the 28000 block of County Road 129.
At 8:19 p.m. St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids reported a male was injured in an ATV accident in the Wolf Lake area. No details were available.
At 10:49 p.m. a man reported the theft of a backpack, containing valuables, which had been left outside at Burger King when he started his shift there.
Sunday, May 24
At 10:47 a.m. a Minneapolis man reported the theft of four tires from a Ford Bronco on the 47000 block of County Road 26. There is a suspect.
At 1 p.m. a Frazee man reported a grass fire that was spreading into a wooded area in south Height of Land Township. Firefighters from Frazee and the DNR were on the scene for about an hour.
At 2:16 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported items had been stolen from a young couple's apartment on the 600 block of Washington Avenue.
At 2:38 p.m a Waubun man reported a garage fire on the 39000 block of 295th Ave in Maple Grove Township. Firefighters from Ogema and White Earth were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
At 8:29 p.m. BNSF Railroad security workers reported a railroad tie on fire in the vicinity of Highway 10 East and Oxcart Trail. Frazee firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
At 8:22 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported two middle school-aged boys shooting BB guns at passing cars on the 1300 block of 270th Ave. in Lakeview Township.
At 10:10 p.m. officers who responded to an assault complaint at the Northside bar arrested an extremely intoxicated man for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Monday, May 25
At 12:20 a.m. an ATV accident with injuries was reported by the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department on Hughes Fire Trail in Savannah Township. A Becker County deputy was on the scene for about 90 minutes.
At 4:18 a.m. threats were reported by a Detroit Lakes resident that led to a disorderly conduct citation being issued to an Ogema resident on the 200 block of Sunny Side Avenue.
At 1:22 p.m. a Lake Park resident reported that hay bales were on fire on the 14000 block of County Road 12 in Cuba Township. Lake Park firefighters were on the scene for about 70 minutes.
At 1:59 p.m. a Lake Park woman reported the theft of $200 from her purse while she was at a graduation party in the Ogema area. There is a suspect.
At 4:43 p.m. a Detroit Lakes resident reported a tree house on fire in the Timber Creek area. Detroit Lakes firefighters were on the scene for about 25 minutes.
Tuesday, May 26
At 9:08 a.m. the Frazee Police Department reported an assault on a school bus on the 23000 block of 180th Avenue in Hamden Township.
At 11:08 a.m. an Audubon man reported the theft of 20-30 bundles of roofing shingles and some scaffolding. There is a suspect.
