County's K-9 team gives Girl Scouts 'paws'

Hubbard County Deputy Sheriff Jeremiah Johnson and his K-9 partner, Vulcan, were featured speakers at a Girl Scout troop meeting Tuesday. The girls quizzed Deputy Johnson about his life as a law enforcement officer, while Vulcan demonstrated his drug-sniffing prowess and ability to obey commands in the Czech language. Vulcan is a European breed of German Shepherd, raised in the Czech Republic.
