Community notification tonight for sex offender living in Akeley
A community notification meeting will be held tonight, Thursday, for a Level 3 sex offender who moved to Akeley one month ago.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. at City Hall to alert the public to the presence of Joshua Joe Dexter, 30.

Dexter is the third Level 3 offender to move to Hubbard County. Troy Bruce Lee, 38, lives in Park Rapids and Mark Anthony Rehm, 27, will be moving to Park Rapids at the end of this month. Dexter is living on the 200 block of Marie Avenue Southeast.
Dexter was released in 2007 on a Criminal Sexual Conduct conviction that was prosecuted in Kannabec County and moved to downtown Park Rapids in January.
Dexter is 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
