COLA awards two for service to group's mission
COLA has recognized two men instrumental in helping the group achieve its mission.
Jerry Knoblich and Shane Foley, former director of the Hubbard County Soil and Water Conservatuon District, were recognized for their contribution to the fight against Aquatic Invasive Species and other efforts on COLA's behalf.
Foley was recognized for the technical support and assistance he has provided COLA for the past four years, said Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Associations president Dan Kittilson.
Knoblich was commended for his many years of service as the Chairperson of COLA's government Liaison Civic Committee.
"Jerry will still be assisting the committee but will no longer serve as chairperson," Kittilson said. "Jerry has been our key leader in working with the specific actions of the Civic committee including the children's Freshwater Festival, Restore-the-Shore tree program and the water quality monitoring."
Knoblich has been in COLA for several years.
