Sam Coborn's fifth hat trick of the season wasn't enough to lead the Park Rapids-Menahga-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys hockey team past Prairie Centre Thursday night.

Cody Bartkowicz and Nate Mettenburg scored two goals each in leading Prairie Centre to a 5-3 Mid-State Conference win at Long Prairie.

Coborn scored at the 13:37 and 15:14 marks to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead after the first period. Noah MacPherson, Bailey Mueller and Levi Erickson had assists.
