Christie Prody, O.J. Simpson's ex-girlfriend, turns herself in
MOORHEAD – O.J. Simpson’s ex-girlfriend has turned herself in after failing to report for jail for about a week after a Clay County judge sentenced her to 34 days on a drug and burglary conviction.
Christie Prody, 38, turned herself in to law enforcement officials on Saturday, one week and one day after a judge ordered her to report to jail to begin serving her sentence, said Clay County Chief Deputy Matt Siiro.
Prody pleaded guilty in May to one count of second-degree burglary and one count of fifth-degree possession of drugs, both felonies. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 11 days served. She is also sentenced to 10 years of probation.
