Blackduck teen dies of injuries from Beltrami County crash

FARGO, N.D. - A 13-year-old Blackduck girl has died as a result of her injuries from Friday's crash in Beltrami County.

Skyayla "Sky" Love died Sunday at a Fargo, N.D., hospital, according to a press release from the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.

Love was trapped in a vehicle that overturned Friday on Alvwood Road, about 3.5 miles east of Blackduck. She was extricated and airlifted to a Fargo hospital, but died Sunday as a result of the accident, the press release said.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are continuing the investigation into the crash.

Funeral services for Love have been set. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Cease Family Funeral Home in Blackduck. A memorial service with no viewing will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Blackduck High School, with a chance to visit with family and friends one hour before the service.
