Bemidji man who died in parking lot was case of hypothermia

A Bemidji man found dead in a drainage ditch near the Sanford Regional Events Center likely died of hypothermia.

On Jan. 10, the Bemidji Police Department responded to the west parking lot of the Sanford Regional Events Center and located the frozen body of an adult male. The scene was processed for evidence and the body was trans-ported to the Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji for an autopsy.
