Bemidji ends win streak by Panthers
Something had to give during Tuesday night's dual meet between the Park Rapids and Bemidji girls swimming and diving teams.
Both teams entered the meet undefeated in duals this season with Park Rapids riding a 15-meet winning streak. That streak came to an end as Bemidji won nine events en route to a 104-82 victory.
The Panthers, whose last lost in a dual meet was to Bemidji in 2010, fell to 5-1 on the season while Bemidji, which led from start to finish, improved to 5-0.
